Elder Elm

Description

Once the leader of Yestergleam, Elder Elm was called to leave their post and traveled to the Everwoe Fens. There, they found a host of swampy treants suffering and dedicated their time and energy into helping the suffering trees.

Speaking with the plants and swamp creatures, Elm helped the treants erect a druidic sanctuary to plants and creatures called the Stone Outpost. Within those stone walls they inscribed druidic magic and invoked the healing of Latarem to protect plants and animals alike.

Appearance

Because of the protection of Yestergleam and the revival of great forests and plants, Elm is imagined as an immense hero of the region, however anyone who actually meets them finds they are only three feet tall.

It is unknown what kind of creature Elm really is, as they keep their body hidden and only their eyes glow from beneath their hood. The few that have gotten glimpses of their hands, have seen that Elm is covered in spores and plant growth.

Personality

If ever the opportunity to meet Elm arises, their knowledge of nature is unparalleled in this part of the world and they have a host of plants and nature collected and at their fingertips.

Currently, Elm is set on creating a food for plants and animals that is purely magical in nature. It is their hope to show that plants and animals can coexist without the need to devour one another.

Notable Facts

Elm entreated the heroes of Monax’len, known as the Bushwhackers, to stop a disease in the area called ‘Fensickness’. Currently, the disease has been abated, but Elm remains to help rebuild the swamp.
