The Bloodwake is a dark wood ship with blood-red sails but that’s not how it earned its name. No, the Bloodwake is named that because of the eerie red lanterns that hang across the bow and along the hull, making the surrounding waters glisten red at night. It’s covered in spikes for not only intimidating an enemy but also to damage any ships that might attempt to ram it. Huge shields along the side of the upper deck lend to rumors that it’s crewed by giants. Other than a flag system the armada uses to communicate between ships, the only flag on The Bloodwake sits upon the tallest mast; a red wave on a black field.
