The Magisterial Society of Scriveners & Cartographers strives to be the worlds largest archival library and a center for learning. Lectures are held daily in the towers and reading rooms are open to the general public on the first floor only. The second floor, which houses our fiction and artistic works, is for staff and by reservation only. The third floor, which is the world's most complete arcana library known, is by appointment only and with accompaniment by a senior staff member. The roof-top astronomy towers are by appointment only and with accompaniment of a senior astronomer only.

TMSoSC is a well-respected and worlds renown scholarly organization with one of the largest collection of knowledge, charts, & books. They have various smaller libraries throughout the worlds as they seek to gather as much art and knowledge as possible. This is their main archives and center for arcane studies.

TMSoSC does not take political sides nor interferes with politics or matters best left to those in power. However, they do leverage their knowledge to allow particular professors and/or staff to enter into territories that they would otherwise not be allowed. This sometimes causes tension between governing bodies and the Society.

TMSoSC's staff & professors traverse various worlds, planes, and beyond. Some of what you'll find in our archives may seem impossible, otherworldly, or even unfathomable, however, we can assure you if it's in our science section, it belongs there.

TMSoSCAL, affectionally referred to as "Timsocal" (pronounced like "whimsical" but with a t), sits amid a small village otherwise referred to as "the campus". The library was built on a large parcel of land with several acres with the intention of building homes for the long-term, full-time staff but this quickly turned into a thriving town with several dorms for students, local shops, and non-staff residents.
