The Elysian Church is a prominent Plumamentian religion dedicated to the ideals and teachings of Xurhuan Zhi / Elysia.

Founded by remnants of the Original Strigoi, the Elysian Church spread quickly through Spirits all across Plumamentia.

Though originally a unified group, the Church fractured into several disparate denominations at the end of the First Era.

The Sun and the Moon created Plumamentia, and Xurhuan Zhi / Elysia created Mortal life.
There can be no greater joy in providing for a community; no deeper shame than accumulating excesses.
It is the duty of those with power to provide for those without.

The vast majority of Alkhakh / Fae, Dryads, Ganjue / Strigoi, Sirens, and Spirits are Elysians.
- Some Humans are Elysians, though they are incredibly few.
- Even fewer Elves are Elysians.
It is unclear whether Xurhuan Zhi / Elysia birthing the Dragon Lords / Laiwang caused the denominational split, or whether a denominational split caused Xurhuan Zhi / Elysia to split into the Dragon Lords / Laiwang.
Gurang Zhi / Solane and Huran Zhi / Nyxal feature lightly in Elysian mythos - mostly as apathetic creators than divine beings.
- Both are occasionally referred to as sinful, due to their non-involvement in Mortal affairs.
  - This is especially prominent in the Crimson Ember denomination.
- The exception is of course the Abundance and Frozen Rose churches.
