“No one lights a lamp in order to hide it behind the door: the purpose of light is to create more light, to open people's eyes, to reveal the marvels around.”

Solane is the God of binaries and extremes - particularly the positives and heights. Most notably he represents the Sun in the Sun/Moon dynamic.
As the patron of the Elven race Solane shares many of their core traits. He is loyal and dedicated to his charges to a fault... not from any place of emotional connection, but from something akin to a sense of duty or ownership.
Modern Worship
Solane is known to nearly all living creatures, but especially the ones who view him as a patron God (Tsenan Lai / Spring, Ulong Lai / Summer, the Human Race, the Alkhakh / Fae race, and the Sodatsu / Dryad race).
Notably amongst his adherents are the Somnic Church (who view him as a creator God) and Abundance (who view him as a secondary good to Xurhuan Zhi / Elysia)... though he is mentioned in all other Elysian sects also.

Appearance
Background
The Void Era
Solane came into being at some point during the Void Era - coagulating from loose particulates of Ichor that Yuuwu Juriin / Abaddon had largely ignored.
Later, during the First Divine War, Solane and Huran Zhi / Nyxal would conspire and utilize structured Rune magic in order to weaken Yuuwu Juriin / Abaddon's elements of chaos and uncertainty, eventually leading to his demise.
The First Era
Solane largely kept to himself during the First Era, pursuing his own research.
The Second Era
Using what knowledge he had gleaned from his research in the First Era, Solane worked with Huran Zhi / Nyxal to shape a few select Spirits into new Mortals: the Elf Race.
The Second Divine War
The Azurites, after centuries of Yuuwu Juriin / Abaddon's corrupting influence, murdered and subsumed Ulong Lai / Summer and Summer's Domain. This concerned Solane such that, following Thorn's demise, Solane attempted to bargain with Yuuwu Juriin / Abaddon: trading his own free will for the safety of the remaining Dragon Lords / Laiwang.
