Character Creation Guidelines

----- Character Options – Please see the backstory section below.
o Players can choose from the official (DND 2014 players handbook, DND 2024 players handbook, Tashas, or MoTM).
o Players can choose classes from the above list of sourcebooks.
o Players cannot mix options between 2014 and 2024 handbooks.
----- Beginning Stat Creation
o Will be XP character advancement.
o Hit points will be fixed.
o Use Encumbrance.
o Ability scores generated by Point Buy.
o Rest rules will use gritty realism (short rest = 8 hours, long rest = 7 days).
----- Starting Equipment (In addition to your classes starting items.)
o 1 Tool Kit based on players’ profession.
o Explorers Pack
o 1 Cantrip Spell Scroll – Players Choice.
o 1 Healing Potion
o 15G (Spend as you choose).
