Such tomes can be studied carefully, for 1 hour, and provide the reader with a persistent +1 circumstance bonus about a single Astral shard's fauna, flora, geography and its civilized denizens (if any present), until the next daily preparations. Each costs 15 imperials and has a Bulk of 1.
