I use AI a lot for graphics and music. I sometimes use it to generate ideas but not to write encounters. I may use it to flesh-out an NPC background, but I don't just take the first thing it spits out; I will guide it to something that works for what I have in mind.
I understand some people are extremely opposed to AI and won't have anything to do with it. I respect your decision, but you'll need to find another table. Please respect my decision and don't down vote a reddit LFG post over this.
I like using AI to create the background image each session, for occasional other scene images and mostly for NPCs images. I'll happily create images for your PCs but it's fine if you don't want that.
I also have recently found Suno (music AI creator) and enjoy making my own soundtracks for games. The background music from Syrinscape will mostly be from Suno but I might use some of the Syrinscape available music. I will also use ElevenLabs for sound effects and possibly some NPC voices but probably not too often: it's much easier to just speak it myself. I might use it for some very exotic voices.
For those on the fence about AI, I find it to be a powerful tool for the GM. I can create images and portraits that really capture what I am looking for. Prior to AI, it was a matter of hunting around the web for something that might work and settling for images that weren't really that close.
I do post some of my AI to various social media platforms. I don't charge for it, and I don't expect players to follow me or support me in anyway.
After we select a campaign premise, I will be creating a LegendKeeper site for it and most of the media for it will come from MidJourney.
