Here are the tools I use, with a few notes. The only thing that requires a purchase is Pathbuilder, which is a one time purchase.

$6 | Yes | Your characters will need to be valid in pathbuilder, which is a very useful tool for creating a legal character. PF2E is complex, almost no one builds their PC without it. It is not necessary to have your gear or spells there. The $6 is a one-time fee for access to free archetype and ancestral paragon variants. It's the only cost to play this game. Pay the nice person who maintains the tool for us :) | |
