Religion
A note on Gods

All religious cults acknowledge the existence of other Gods, they simply choose to revere certain deities.

As such, you may notice that some Gods are worshipped by different peoples, but the names may differ due to how each culture recognises their own gods. An example of this is Ættǫrr and Ardair being the same God with different names, although the aspects remain the same.

Teuyk

The Teuyk are the physical manifestations of the Gods in the world.

Origin of Races

The Teuyk are the supposed creators of all the races in the world. Often guiding their chosen people with godly support. From the mythology we have, it seems as though families of the Gods have wandered the world from the beginning, hence why such variation in the names of the Gods seems to occur in cultures separate from one another.

Creators of Language

Among the whispers of historians and scholars, the Teuyk are believed to be the ancient progenitors of many languages. Fragments of their writings, discovered in the most remote and inaccessible corners of the world, have sparked fascination and intrigue. Linguists tirelessly study these remnants, seeking to unlock the secrets of their ancient tongues, believing that these linguistic roots have influenced the development of numerous human civilizations. For example, Elvish seems unconnected to the other languages of Poseia, which seem to have come across with the Human Migrations, indicating that Seppä, seperate from his siblings crafted his own language, different from the language that has its origins in the rest of the godly Pantheon, where they stem from a single spoken tongue.

Recent Sightings

Yet, despite the fragments of knowledge gleaned from their writings, the Teuyk remain an enigma. Their motivations, ambitions, and ultimate purpose in this world are known only to them. They guard their secrets with fierce determination, jealously protecting the wisdom and traditions passed down through the generations.

Additional Deities

The below Pantheon is fragmentary, with additional Gods unknown to the region of interest in After Fracture, and others forgotten. Over time, these Gods may be discovered, uncovered and even born into the family. Lastly, while learned members of clergy may known of the exact relation of each religion to one another in the Pantheon, many simply only care about the deity within their cult of worship.
