Those that follow the path of divine Ascention are known as Ascenders. They seek to purify themselves and become divine beings, unifying themselves with divinity. Many members of other faiths also happen to be ascenders. It is a long and arduous path. Most fail, but those that succeed may become saints, or even angels.
