Sarrumus, the primordial dragon, was one of the first creations of Zaros. A vast black dragon, said to darken the sky when it takes flight.
It is from this dragon that all others may derive their lineage. Despite being Zaros' creation, Sarrumus is not a being of pure hate. Rather, he embodies power, persistence, resilience, and fortitude. A being of great reason and strength, he acts in accordance to his own desires. In this way, Sarrumus can be seen as a representative of the rules of natural chaos. His children, the Dragons, embody this ideal perfectly, as they become a force of nature in their domains, adapting to their environments and challenges.
The birth of Sarrumus marked the creation of the first mortal creature, and soon after, Sarrumus spoke the very first words of Draconic, his very words bending the myst.
Sarrumus' symbols are a black dragon with open wings, or it's black, stonelike scales.
In ancient mythology, Sarrumus did battle with Grant and his giant kin for control of a northern land, permanently scarring the giant god's arms. In the end, Sarrumus fled, settling in an unknown place, creating the first dragon brood.
