The party continued following the footsteps from the Mysterious Crater. However, Sooney-Crow of No Family got turned around and the party lost their way. They came upon a ramshackle fort guarded by a Stone Golem. They cleverly lured the Stone Golem into a sinkhole and then explored the fort.
They found an Evil Cultist and his band of skeletal soldiers. All were dispatched with relative ease. Bess Ashglade helped with some well timed spells.
Rummaging the remains, Sooney-Crow of No Family discovered Robe of True Grit, as yet unattuned. Greer the Betrayer found a handful of precious garnet stones.
The party was able to pick up the footsteps the next day and made good time on their horses. As they closed in, they soon came across a massive Grey Ooze - whose swath of destruction could be seen tracking back across the countryside towards the Vault of Graxus . They saw a large humanoid fighting the ooze and holding its own.
The party decided to head back towards the vault themselves - and as they turned to leave, the humanoid locked eyes with Shiv Drinkstep - clocking him as he left.
