The Elves of the Fallen Kingdom have endured thousands of years of decline. Losing sacred forest and ancient cites to the endless encroachment of men and other young races.
Reduced to pockets of 'Elfdom' spread across the realms, they are slowly being pushed to the brink.
Split into three major factions, the High Elves, Wood Elves and Dark Elves.
The guardians of elven culture and tradition. The most magically attuned of all the races and the smallest in number.
The death of even one elf is an retrievable lose. A part of their dwindling society they can never reclaim.
Their main communities include the Moonvale and the Crimson Woods.
More numerous than their high born kin, and more 'savage'. Shunning the outside world, they stalk what remains of their sacred forests, particularly those of Thalen Vor. Largely wary of outsiders, they are likely to kill unwary travelers who trespass in their lands.
Not content to allow the elven race to pass into legend, the Dark Elves of Umbra, the Shadow Realm, are a devious and ruthless people. Where their High Elf kin will take great care to preserve their history and the Wood Elves guard their lands jealously, the Dark Elves take the fight to the world.
Through dark pacts and shadowy cults, the touch of the Dark elves can be felt in all corners of the realm. Working behind the scenes to enact a new future for their dwindling race
