A sulllen full moon encompasses our vision and we sense an overwhelming pressure weighing down on us. Our view pans down and we see beneath the moonlit sky is a wind swept dessert. In that murky haze of sand and fog rolling over the dunes we spy a small fissure in the rocky terrain. As we follow and dive into this dark cave leading into the depths of the earth we feel that pressure grow, impending feeling of something wrong or something will be wrong and has yet to be unleashed.
This dreadful path finally gives way to flicking firelight in the distance. We see Kelly Matthews trembling with a torch in her grasp, adjacently we see the other hand with a newspaper ready for ignition like some makeshift second torch. As the flames reach out to kiss the inky pages we read the headline "March 23rd 2016 ISIS claims responsibility as suspected Brussels suicide bombers identified"
Then like being woken from sleep we startle at the shout of Hal
"Now light the Sigil!"
His voice echo's and reverberates through out the cave as Kelly brings paper to fire and drops them one on each side.
We see the flames engulf some sticky trenches filled with a now viscous flaming liquid.
This earthen tunnel opens to a wide cavern, runes of flame appearing far in the distance racing to meet each other at the other end of a large magical circle. As this hypergeometric ritual begins we see a full LEGION of demonic entities within this massive magical entrapment. Their forms ranging from your average human to grotesque abominations. Our vision fly's over their immense number as the fire meets itself on the other end. Many of them suffer what appears to be self inflicted wounds dripping with that same viscous fluid fueling the magical fire around us. We hear them start to chant and growl an unearthly cadence beckoning for something to happen.
At the far end of the runic circle , Hal stands stalwart against unseen hypergeometric forces, Robe billowing, face strained heavy with focus and responsibility. As the demons chant and squeal he raises a scimitar glistening unnaturally in the firelight.
"I Dispel disperse and detach he who shall not be named from all who have been influenced unto themselves by the nameless. With this symbol I connect and control the memories of those who stand today unafflicted. "
Hal Holds up "The yellow Sign" scrawled in red on a thick velum, the wet sheen of fresh blood flickers in the firelight.
"May the energy and power in thine own legion serve the cause of accumulator and cost….. With this the nameless IS forgotten."
The paper in Hals hand shines a bright dark purple and fades to less than ash, as he brings his Scimitar down in a mighty slash.
The gory heads of thousands of demonic entities fly into the air as there bodies drop to the floor, lifeless. The fire jumps eagerly consuming the fallen bodies and just as fast is snuffed out as our vision goes black.
….We fade away from this scene and into another…
We see
An Iron cage bolted to a concrete floor. Inside rests a large bronze amphora, stoppered at the top. The amphora shakes as if containing a mighty beast. The Exterior is etched with an inscription in Ancient Akkadian unreadable to most
"
THE FATHER OF WAR WAITS
HUNGRY TO LICK THE SKIN FROM THE WORLD
WAR HIS ENDLESS GIFT
BLOOD HIS ENDLESS PRICE
FREE HIM AND PAY
"
We see the stopper of the Amphora slide just ever so lightly up as the scene fades to black.
