Nock

Nock is one of several towns that had troubled pasts before the Wardens found and helped them. When the rangers found the town it was suffering from a band of bandits that had taken up residence in a series of nearby caves. Upon investigation it was discovered that the caves in question were in fact, an entrance to the dimly lit caverns of the dark elves.

With that discovery and with the untamed lands not claimed by any faction relatively close by, the town has become something of a gathering spot for the more adventurous sort of souls. Many young men and women have staged an expedition into the unknown from the taverns and inns of Nock. The market reflects that. Weapons and traveling supplies can be gotten at a good price. Especially if one does not ask too closely about how many owners a sword has had before. Strange artifacts also can be found here if one knows the right doors to knock on and the right passphrases. Occasionally something suspiciously reminiscent of the Drow that live beneath the mountain floats through. Although none of the merchants can quite remember where it came from when asked about it.
