Location that figures prominently in the book The Protector. It is the home of Theo and Alex Taylor, and eventually Marcus and Alex Stephanek-Taylor. It is north of Grand Rapids, close to the Manistee National Forest.

(Note: St. Marks is a fictional location but is roughly based on Fremont, MI, although with a larger population.)
