When you make a deal with a character you may create a magical contract. Both characters are aware of the deal and the consequences of breaking the deal. If either side breaks the agreement or violates its intent, both sides are aware of the violation and the counterparty may choose to deal a wound to the one who broke the deal. (A wound applied to a mook will kill them, otherwise an NPC may become bloodied (half health) until they break the curse)
When personally commissioned by a victim of a broken bargain or crime, you may unerringly trace the main culprit, having a constant sense of their direction and a rough idea of their distance. The victim must know the culprit’s name or have a clear idea of their real appearance. You may only track one person in this way and must visit the victim again to pick up the trail once it is abandoned. You gain +1d to rolls against characters marked in this way.
By using ritual magic you can publicly show when a lie is told, a bell ringing for each truth. You are also held beholden to this and may demonstrate that what you, or your allies, say is true. Additionally you can always tell when somebody is lying.
You can appear supernaturally normal; fading into a crowd or background. People will forget you are there unless they are actively looking for you or you draw attention to yourself. You may start a combat hidden.
Once per day you may decree a law that all character in your presence will obey as if it was a longstanding law. They will ignore laws that will clearly cause them harm or are extremely inconvenient. Worthy character’s may save to resist the influence of the law.
You may also use this to bring you and your allies outside the law for a scene. You may do anything with legal impunity. Character may try to stop you when you are personally threatening or endangering them. Characters may still seek revenge outside of the law.
