Conditions

Conditions

Conditions impose penalties, restrictions, or dangers on a creature.

A creature may suffer multiple conditions at once, but cannot suffer the same condition more than once unless the Referee rules otherwise.

Conditions are removed when:

  • the effect ends

  • the source is resolved

  • or recovery is possible through rest, aid, or action

The Referee always has final say over how conditions apply within the fiction.

Removing Conditions

Each condition lists how it is removed.

Some conditions are removed using the Recover Action.

If a condition is caused by an ongoing source such as poison, disease, a curse, injury, or environment, it cannot be removed until the source is resolved.
