As the God Abaddon died, his Ichor was separated and reformed into many disparate parts. A large portion reformed into the God Elysia, with the remnants remaining detached and settling into Abaddon's corpse. During this period, all Mortal races slowly developed into fully-functioning species.

Towards the end of this period, the God Elysia split her own consciousness into five parts - christening four of them Dragon Lords and tasking them with overseeing the four Pillars to ensure that the fundamental laws of Plumamentia remained constant and orderly so as to never allow Abaddon any grasp at power.
