Weapon, uncommon
This halberd is crafted in the style of the ancient dwarves, with scrolled and gem-inlaid details. It has an empty socket at its pommel, which appears as though it would fit a fist-sized gemstone.
You gain +1 to attack and damage rolls. Additional benefits may be gained by slotting various gemstones into the weapon’s pommel.
The blade of the weapon glows orange and produces light as a torch. Once per day, if the blade comes into contact with flame, it spews fire in a 40 foot cone. All in the cone take 3d8 fire damage, DEX save for half, after which the blade/stone won’t produce light until the next day.
The blade of the weapon glows with ghostly moonlight, producing light as a candle. Once per day, a hit creature is engulfed in ghostly flames that cause searing pain, and it must make a Constitution saving throw. It takes 2d10 radiant damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
(A shapechanger makes its saving throw with disadvantage. If it fails, it also instantly reverts to its original form.)
