Characterized by trade, exploration and naval warfare.
Men quickly begin exploring the world and establishing trade routes, trading agriculture, food, and resources from the surface.
Men make the first contact with troll empires in the jungle who have already been established. They make friendly relations with the humans.
Dwarves begin trading with humans for resources in exchange for their ores and machina.
Elves begin trading with humans and dwarves (who had to be convinced) for dwarven materials, in exchange for elvencraft.
The first human trading companies form and build outposts in various coastal locations around the world.
The first human Navies take form, bolstered by trade, and necessitated by the rise of a void being in the ocean known as the Deep God.
The Deep One unleashes its armies upon coastal settlements, creating a pressure upon Men and Elves to strengthen their Navies.
First contact with the Druhau, elves lost in the Hraen during the dark days. Empires have already been established in the dark below and of a similar strength to the draihari. They quickly establish sparing trade with the dark elves.
The Druhau quickly prove to be difficult to trade with, being deeply matriarchal, and many refuse to speak with men. They also contend with the influences of the Deep One.
The first major naval conflicts happen between human trading companies, high elven Navy, and the Deep One's forces; consisting of sea monsters and submarine mechanima.
The Deep God triumphs, and the countless loss of ships and lives add to his forces.
To these conflicts, the high elves respond with heightened trade for materials with which to build warships.
The draihari city of Ash Point (Shalafeir), on the western continent now known as Niskerra, is destroyed by the Deep One's forces. Draihari ships respond with aggression towards other ships or creatures, friendly or not, that come near their coastlines.
Dark elven sorcerers begin harnessing the Deep God's power and the first dark elven Sirens appear-- as well as those who turned and became enthralled by its power, resulting in more loss along Niskerra's coast.
Humans mistake enthralled sirens for draihari forces while the high elves disapprove of them for willingly embracing the Deep God's powers. Tensions increase.
Ongoing struggles with the Deep God's forces result in coastal nations pushing back with heightened naval interest. Human trading companies become militarised.
The high elves, dark elves, and humans by this time have the largest Navies. The Deep God's attacks become less frequent along the coasts with increased naval power from Nhera's coastal nations keeping it at sea.
Naval and land trade is at its height. High tensions between the draihari and Men, as a result of the dark elves' continued defense of the Niskerran coastline and the looting of trade company vessels, slows sea trade dramatically with Niskerra.
Pressures from within Niskerra push the dark elves to begin raiding in a need for resources due to slow trade. Their pride prevents them from re-initiating trade with the other nations as they take to desperate destruction and looting of human and rarely high elven vessels.
Men declare Draihari to be an enemy of the empire and openly engage in naval warfare with them in response to years of raiding. Draihari, being longer lived, consider their raiding just for the disrespect and encroachment on their territory in years past.
Draihari begin raiding Valurn, cutting their final ties of kinship with the high elves.
The presence of naval power remains high and in constant tension. Around SA 1380 is when the first U'lythia appear from those who were lost at sea and claimed by the Deep God.
