Interrogating Fendrel: Fendrel was twitchy and nervous, clearly terrified of what the Syndicate might do to him. Z’ed and Flint played good cop/bad cop while Bruin’s impatience and threats finally made him crack.
Spilled Secrets: Under pressure, Fendrel revealed a shipment of fiendish artifacts and admitted he was a wannabe spy feeding intel to Sal and the resistance.
Syndicate Meeting Spot: He shared the location of a nearby Syndicate warehouse but fled in terror afterward. It’s unlikely the group will see him again.
Ambush & Aftermath: Shortly after Fendrel disappeared, Syndicate trackers arrived. Flint got roughed up after biting off more than he could chew, and Laslyn needed some gnarly field surgery from Klackers.
Loot & Odd Finds: Searching the bodies, the group found useful items, including a peculiar cauldron that now follows Flint around. He later helped Bruin and Amani affix their new talismans to their gear.
Tracking the Kobolds: The trail led into eerie foothills—jagged, dusty, yet damp, littered with remnants of old traps. The air was thick with the smell of sulfur and burning.
Kobold Encounter: As the group approached, Bruin’s heavy footsteps gave them away. Thinking quickly, Flint shouted "Rope Salesman!" in Draconic.
Talked Their Way Through: Flint managed to convince the kobolds he had rope they desperately needed. The group was allowed to pass after paying a gold, avoiding a fight.
