Opened more recently across town from The Barley’s Respite, the more upscale establishment, The Rye’s Repose, caters to the discerning palates of merchants and travelers. Established by Dravok Cadigan after his journeys across Lomiindor, the tavern has an air of sophistication that feels somewhat out of place in Dunscaith. While few locals frequent the establishment, Torvyn Cadigan, Dravok's father, actively encourages residents to visit and sample new batches of whiskey to help drive business. Perhaps the most unique feature of The Rye’s Repose is its bartender—a gnome named Solrik, who wears wiry, round spectacles, a simple bowtie, and a sharp black apron. However, his most distinguishing feature, an impressively thick styled handlebar mustache, has earned him the affectionate nickname "The Stache."
