The Dunscaith Brewery

The Dunscaith Brewery stands proudly in Oakshade Commons, an enduring symbol of the town’s heritage and craftsmanship. The historic building, constructed from strong stone and reinforced with weathered oak beams, exudes a rustic charm that draws visitors and locals alike. Its open workshop design allows the rich scents of malty grain and hops to waft through the air, mingling with the lively bustle of the Commons.

Owned and operated by the esteemed Stoutgrain family, the brewery is the birthplace of Dunscaith’s famous Stoutgrain Lager—a rich, malty beer that has become synonymous with the town’s identity. The brewing operation is overseen by Halradin Brendemuel, a master brewer whose expertise and passion are evident in every batch.

Inside, rows of polished copper kettles gleam under the warm glow of hanging lanterns, while the expansive storage area, lined with oak barrels, ensures that the lager matures to perfection.
