Near Oakshade Commons, nestled among the cluster of historic buildings along Mountainshade Road, is the relatively new Crust and Crumb. Opened within the last decade, the shop has quickly become a local favorite. Specializing in pastries and confections made from locally sourced ingredients, it caters to both residents and tourists. Its proprietor, a Halfling baker named Cedric Greenstone, fell in love with Dunscaith during a visit for the Harvest Festival. After his booth’s overwhelming success that year, the town offered to lease him the historic bakery as a permanent storefront.
