Eterna, The Heartworld, was a Super-earth planet that was destroyed by Tauwollid after his destruction of the Universe. This event led to the creation of The Cycle, The Sheltered Plane, and created Taeavor, A fractured world.

The Severance refers to the catastrophic event that sundered the original planet of Eterna.
The Cause: The planet was destroyed by the god Tauwollid in a preemptive strike before the Great War between the 7 Deities of The Council.
The Result: The destruction of a technologically advanced civilization and the physical splitting of the world.
The Reformation: Following the war, The Council intervened. They did not heal the planet but stabilized the fragments, creating The Sheltered Plane (Taeavor) and weaving The Rule of Nines into reality to prevent such direct divine interference from happening again.
