Wondrous Item (Common), single-use, volatile
These unstable concoctions are made from scavenged oils, fermented spider venom, and bits of powdered bone or pitch. The kobolds strap them to their bodies or hold them in trembling claws, rushing toward enemies with suicidal fervor.
Range (if thrown): 20 ft. (no proficiency bonus)
Area (if self-detonated): 5 ft. radius around the kobold
Trigger: Kobold uses Dash toward target and explodes at the start of its next turn, or upon death.
Explosion:
Each creature in a 5-foot radius must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw.
On a fail: Takes 2d6 fire damage and is Ignited
On a success: Takes half damage and is not ignited.
Ignited: Takes 1d4 fire damage at the beginning of it turn. Can sacrifice their action to automatically extinguish the flames, or can attempt another DC13 Dex saving throw at the end of their turn as a bonus action (but still takes that round's damage.)
Note: Creatures restrained or grappled when hit have disadvantage on the save.
