Provide a title which gives light to the adventure. (I.E. The Gnoll Pits)
Situation:
Briefly describe what the adventure is about and a tone for the adventure.
Hook:
Give the players a reason to start the adventure. (I.E. Thrain says that the gnolls have been attacking supply caravans.)
Landscape:
Describe the terrain the players will encounter, specific trees, unique land shapes, strange phenomena. Try to come up with a few harvestable ingredients/plants/resources.
Encounters:
Encounter 1 -
x3 gnolls and x1 gnoll pack lord
They are travelling the area as roving guards, looking for caravans to attack.
Encounter 2 -
x 3d4 gnolls and x 3d4 goblins
The gnolls and goblins are in open combat when the players come upon them.
Encounter 3 -
x 3d6 gnolls and x1 fang of yeenghu
The fang of yeenghu is instructing the gnolls on combat strategys vs humans.
BBEG: Big Bad Evil Guy:
Come up with a name, personality, and possible goals of this enemy. Incorporate unique combat interactions and home-brew aspects of their stat block. (I.E. Skuldrath, high howler of the gnoll pits. Wants to gain enough power to get out from under the cultists rule. Cruel, bloodthirsty and non negotiable.)
Rewards:
List out possible rewards for the adventure. These should tie to the general theme of the adventure. (I.E. gnolls may have +1 weapons, potions of rage or the like. The leader may have a unique magical weapon, item, or wonderous item.) List out monetary rewards as well (gold, gems, art objects).

List 1 or 2 secrets or clues the players can find out about the larger narrative and world.
