The NW road leaving the city cut through the tall grasses of the Western Chalk Dells. There are way stations found along the road leaving the city ruins at 1, 2, 4, and 9 miles. They are stone huts in various stages of disrepair, with a fire pit at their center
Where the Grandpa's Word expedition set up camp for the night. This waystation's roof was only partly intact, but it was able to protect 5 people from the rain overnight. There was an old well nearby, not sure if this is a feature of all waystations or just this one. Mimicking Frogs repeated overheard conversations later in the night.
