The Lizardfolk, Tortles and Yuan-Ti were created by magical experiments thousands of years ago by an ancient civilization called the Sarrukh, they live in the Jungles in the south of Kildar around Scalepoint.
The Minotaurs' origin is still a mystery, most live underground in the Underdark
To see an animalfolk is a rare sight, to see one walk the streets of towns and cities is extraordinary, and will likely draw many eyes and whispers.
