Laic Esoterica is written in Common to humans, not Krinnsto. The Krinn actually just call it “The Book of Stories” and it is viewed at as a somewhat heretical set of tales, but was written by the actual human planeswalker Athavan.

The cover of the book always has the common script “Laic Esoterica” on it, but it is viewed at as a sort of unknown picogram.

Cultural Significance

Many people will use the stories in the Laic Esoterica to generally understand the history of the gods, and the stories of Athavan’s travels are largely ignored except when used to discriminate against other races.
