Crafting & Harvesting in Drakkenheim

Overview

Unlike traditional D&D magic item crafting, Drakkenheim uses a monster harvesting and workshop system. Adventurers learn recipes, harvest magical components from defeated monsters, locate appropriate workshops, and combine those components to create magic items.

The crafting process consists of four steps:

  1. Learn a Recipe (usually from a schematic)

  2. Harvest Components from monsters

  3. Locate an appropriate Workshop

  4. Spend one day crafting the item
