Characters and Players

Summary

The characters are traveling through Turnip Hill and learn from the vicar there that a group of adventurers ran through the town earlier in the morning chased by a Storm Giant, who proceeded to rip the bell off of the chapel. Accepting the offer of 2,000gp for its return, they proceeded to track the two groups to Willoby Hall, a supposed haunted manor a few miles off from the town.

There they navigated around, went through the back entrance, which led to a room with quite a bit of taxidermy and hunting trophies. After searching around, they witnessed Bonebreaker Tom, the giant, march up the countryside with the bell, slamming it into the manor. He told the party that his goose had been stolen, and he believes the current party was a part of that. They denied this, and promised to return his goose. Saying he would return in an hour to destroy the manor if they didn't have it ready for him, he marched off.

The party found a secret set of handholds in the fireplace of the room they were in, so they climbed up to a gallery, entered into one of the corner towers, and encountered Helmut the Bodyguard. They skirmished with him, took his weapon, and learned that his patron, Apocalypse Anne had Mildred the Goose.

Tracking her down, Ur Magnus (dead) snatched the goose out of her hands, while the rest of the party battled with her and another companion of hers. They bonded them up, returned the goose to Bonebreaker Tom, and went treasure hunting.

They entered into a museum and opened up a massive black sarcophagus, which woke a Death Knight who downed two party members, but they were fortunately able to be rescued as the party escaped, while Lars Hetland set fire to the manor.
