Description

In the Age of Hegemony, a Choran‑led scout flotilla found a massive worldship drifting between systems, hull scarred but systems astonishingly intact. The vessel carried a full atmosphere‑producing ecohab level—a self‑contained biosphere of air, gravity, and terrain—built atop a hidden lower deck laced with RiftGate infrastructure, making it both wandering habitat and mobile crossroads.

When the scouts boarded, a Choran Sage manifested via avatar or surviving body, identified herself as the craft’s Administrator, and formally welcomed “the free peoples of the galaxy” to the Star Weaver

Significance

From that day, the Weaver became a symbol of primordial hospitality and neutral refuge: a place that was not any empire’s flagship, but a roaming meeting ground laid down by older hands, setting the precedent that later allows Vaelen, Terrans, and finally the Commission to inherit and repurpose it as the Phoenix Wing and, much later, the Void Exchange.
