Plasteel is the workhorse skeleton of the Starfall Galaxy. It’s what cheap orbital housing, station corridors, Wingbot frames, freight containers, and low‑end personal armor are all made of: a composite of steel and high‑performance polymers extruded into honeycomb panels, beams, and plates.

To engineers, plasteel is beloved for three things: It’s strong enough to shrug off daily abuse, micrometeors, and bar fights. It’s light enough that drones stay agile and orbital slums don’t sag off their superstructure. It’s rust‑resistant and easy to weld, meaning you can keep it alive with a torch and a pocketful of Tech Component Clusters.

In the Inner Sphere, “real buildings” have plasteel bones; in the Outer Sphere and Frontier, a rusted plasteel shipping container can become a home, a workshop, or the armored wall of a community’s last redoubt.
