Foundation & Overview

The Eusan Empire is the enemy of the Eusan Nation as a direct result of the Nation's revolution within the Empire. Little is known about the Empire but it seems to be a more religious state that places great spiritual focus on bioresonance and idolises its founder, the Grand Empress. However, by the events of the game, it is presented as being in a state of decline, controlling only a subset of the planets it once did.

The Empire created the first generation of Replika, known to them as Machine-Servants, and were likely the creators of klimaforming, doing so to Buyan in order to build the Imperial Palace.

Sometime after the Empress' death, the founders of the Nation rose up in a civil war against the Empire.

War Against the Nation

Whilst the Nation has seised control over Rotfront, Leng, Heimat, and most recently Vineta, the Eusan Empire still maintains total control over Buyan and Kitezh, its capital held in Buyan.

Despite its loss of control over Vineta, the Imperials have held a strong blockade around Vineta and its moon.

Current State of the War

According to a newspaper article by Der Beschutzer, diplomatic efforts with the Empire are under way but the Empire's fleet is destroying supply lines, causing the starvation of millions of Vinetans. It is not clear whether the newspaper can be trusted since the Nation practices extensive censorship and propaganda.

A blockade has been held around the planet in addition to raids against nearby Nation ships and it's facilities upon Yulin.
