Who: Human; Gundren's associate.
Session 1:
Traveling with Gundren.
Was supposed to meet the party in Phandalin.
Was apparently also attacked in the ambush.
Session 2:
Found being held by Yeemik inside the goblin cave.
Yeemik was holding him at knifepoint and demanded Klarg's head in exchange for Sildar's life.
During the fight, Yeemik cut Sildar's throat and threw him from the ledge.
Clara stabilized him, preventing him from dying.
The party used a healing potion on him, and he woke up.
He told the party that he and Gundren were ambushed together.
He also said that Klarg took Gundren to Kragmaw Castle.
Session 3:
Retired member of the Griffin Cavalry of Waterdeep.
Member of the Lords' Alliance.
Gundren's associate/friend.
Currently traveling with the party.
Sildar came to Phandalin looking for his friend Iarno Albrek
Session 6:
He also revealed that his superiors had doubts about Iarno.
Iarno's primary strength was believed to be his staff.
There is a possibility Iarno may have gone to Cragmaw Castle
Session 10:
The party found Sildar's lost gear in a storeroom at Cragmaw Castle and returned it to him in Phandalin.
Session 14:
A doppelganger wearing Sildar's appearance was in the Forge of Spells. The real Sildar's whereabouts were not established.
Session 15 (September 29, 2026):
The real Sildar remained missing.
Session 16 (October 6, 2026):
Per Nezznar, he was being held with Gundren's surviving brother in a room to the northwest.
Found by Clara alive but unconscious behind the unlocked door near the meeting hall, with Gundren's brother.
Placed on Jasper during the escape; rescued from Wave Echo Cave.
Current status: ALIVE
