The Jungle-Tyrant is one of Veyrath’s largest terrestrial predators, inhabiting deep jungles, dense forests, and isolated wilderness valleys. Mature animals commonly exceed twelve metres in length and seven tonnes in mass. They possess enormous jaws capable of crushing bone, powerful hindquarters, a long balancing tail, and broad padded feet that allow surprisingly quiet movement for an animal of such size.

Jungle-Tyrants are patient ambush hunters. They use dense vegetation, broken terrain, and heavy rain to approach prey with remarkable stealth before attacking at close range. Despite their bulk, they are fast and agile, capable of explosive acceleration and of maintaining a rapid running gait over considerable distances. Their combination of speed, silence, and immense killing power makes them one of the most dangerous animals faced by logging crews, survey parties, and other expeditions operating in undeveloped wilderness.
