Biography
Sir Artorias came to Osterra as simply Artorias, having come through a portal from a land simply known as the Continent. A monster slayer by trade, he was forcibly thrust through a portal by a creature that he had been paid to seek out and eliminate. He expected to find a wraith, but was surprised to find an elf instead. The elf as it turned out was quite adept at manipulating the divisions between worlds, and sent Artorias through with a blast. Now firmly stuck on an unfamiliar world, the hunter began to roam in order to make sense of this strange place.

Eventually he came across a traveling dwarf who seemed to also be deposited from another world. With the dwarf's knack for tactics as well as Artorias' hunting prowess along with the wisdom of a priest they befriended, they formed the Guild of the Black Sky. Settling within the city of Confluence, they quickly made a name for themselves as promoters of trade and defenders of any who sought aid.
Feeling the itch to return to his roots, Artorias has founded the Sanguine Order, an organization comprised of hunters, mages, and scholars devoted to the protection of Osterra from supernatural creatures and threats.
Recently, Artorias has felt the desire to chase after something greater than himself. After spending his time being an integral part of Black Sky, he made the decision to make his way east to New Ravenfall, where he pledged himself to the ranks of The Cast.
Personality: Though a fierce hunter of the most dangerous prey, Artorias is a kind soul. He’s easy to approach, and his kind demeanor has made him an ally to many of the denizens of Osterra, even acting as arbiter for debates and discussions.
Appearance: Artorias is easily distinguished by his long black surcoat or bi-colored yellow and black tabard, sparse plate armor, and two swords strapped to his back. In battle he wields either a steel or silver longsword, depending on the enemy in question.
