Argos claims to be descended from the blood of ancient Acheron and the Bori, like most of the northern nations. They, however, took to the waters early and in time mixed with the blood of the island empires of the Thurian Age. As they settled along the coast of the Western Sea, their
bloodline spread to the lands to the south along their trading networks. In time, small city-states emerged, each with pride in their history and culture. However, they did not have the same level of infighting as in Zingara. It is said by some that “in Argos, trade supersedes even war”. These
city-states agreed for mutual benefit to establish a capital in Messantia, and built a national navy to protect her.
