Geography and Regions

The world of Eldranis is dominated by its central supercontinent, Orethar, and three smaller continents or island chains. Each region is distinct in its culture, history, and landscape:

  • Orethar, the largest continent, is home to diverse civilizations, including mighty empires, treacherous wilderness, and forgotten ruins. It is the stage for most of Eldranis' great conflicts and stories.

  • The Shattered Isles, remnants of once-unified lands, are scattered across the ocean, rich with ancient secrets and hidden dangers. This region was forever changed by the cataclysmic battle between the god Galdrim and the Voidborn leader Zal’kathor.

  • Kaukai, an island chain inspired by Hawaiian and Mesoamerican cultures, features dense jungles, active volcanoes, and rich traditions of elemental magic.

  • The Sunken City of Avalore lies beneath the waves, a mysterious remnant of a forgotten age, now inhabited by both aquatic races and those seeking the lost treasures within.
