Kaius Drussus is a divine human hero of the Marrowfiend Crisis, he along with the other Crisis Heroes defeated the Herald of Woe in 718 GE. St. Drussus started a pilgrimage from his home of the Korinthian Remnant to Atraxia after receiving a vision from his deity, Kai. There he was implicated falsely in the destruction of the floating island, Vivex. Later he would reunite the long lost king, Vyth Barhamir XII, to the throne and be exonerated. Shortly thereafter he joined the vanguard to eliminate the Marrowfiend leader, the Herald of Woe, and so free the Atraxian people from the Marrowfiend Crisis.

Kaius is not a normal human, his soul was returned to a new body after he died in combat with a Soul Devourer, typically impossible. This miracle led him to be codified by the Atraxian Church and the Solara Adorans as a Saint, the first human to receive such an honor. He is reportedly blessed with angelic wings and eyes of fire, many claim he is a demigod.

Kaius disappeared after the crisis was ended for some time without notice. Several months after his disappearance he was reported to be seen accompanying the Imperator. Many profess that St. Drususs is the illusive anonymous figure, the Praetorian Prefect, the most trusted deputy and advisor of the Imperator. Many consider St. Drususs participation in the 2nd Western War a crime against his own people, Mankind. Others praise him as a shining beacon of human strength, this comment is especially common amongst his fellow Adorans, who revere St. Drussus.
