Overview

The Brine Mine is a mining facility underneath a big part of the Nässaltundra. Most of the Heart Realm’s salt production stems from this giant subterranean salt deposit. A ramshackle settlement for laborers and their families has gradually grown both on the surface and underground.

Underneath, holes in the ceiling give way to natural light that shimmers on the knee-deep water and refracts on the ceiling. Many tunnels and cave systems connect to this underground hub, so the facility has to be well-guarded against hostile creatures that make the Underlarders their home.
