Overview

Oilvat is a town in the far north of the Heart Realm. It is generally known as a cutthroat town, for its tendency to harbor exiles and criminals. In truth, it’s a neighborly commune where people of all creeds are welcomed, regardless of run-ins with the law.

The town does not have an official governing body and the influence of any guilds is minimal. Instead, a self-organized neighborhood watch calling themselves the Blanket Brigade ensures those without homes are safe, warm, and well-fed at nightfall. Any other dispute is settled personally, oftentimes in the form of bets, dares, or physical confrontation.
