Day of Moonbonding

Cultural Interpretations

For scholars and philosophers, the twin moons symbolize the balance between reason (Selune) and passion (Eirun), light and shadow, wisdom and change.
Temples often feature intertwined silver and crimson motifs, representing their eternal connection.

Lovers exchange gifts of moonstones—pale and crimson gemstones said to carry the essence of Selune and Eirun’s love—during the Day of Moonbonding.
Legends say that those who confess their feelings under the aligned moons will find their love reciprocated.

Sailors and farmers view the alignment as a time of prosperity, as the moons’ union is said to bring calm seas and fertile lands.

Priests and druids lead ceremonies to honor the alignment, invoking the moons to bless unions, reconcile estranged relationships, and inspire harmony in communities.
