Emberglow 5, 3130 AC | Valthrus Manor | Encounter ongoing
Two skull-headed, black-feathered creatures emerge from the cellar's northern corners and attack. Their strikes leave Zish and Neidr briefly paralyzed, and Belfry suffers an infected bite.
Zish identifies the creatures as corrupted esoboks and warns that they normally have a handler. The Hunters fight on, with Kindling's protector trees shielding their companions and Mahala driving fire and stone up through the floor.
The confrontation is still underway. Its outcome has not yet been resolved.
