Went to the Hall of Accords to have the dungeon heart assessed. Ran into the other party members. We sold the hearts to the Guild and got Keystones & Licenses.
Gaius Valens approached me to ask about the necklace. (Details in Personal Arc)
Met privately at The Siren's Call with the party to talk about my family situation, and details on Linno's curse. Kirk/Kurt also shared about his curse.

Kaluulah solved a puzzle in the reflecting pool of the main room, which opened the doors of the room. Four void-touched skeleton guards were in the hallways. After defeating them, Kaluulah scouted north and saw multiple enemies.
The party split up to scout - south party broke a lever while trying to solve a puzzle; north party accidentally uncovered a shard, attracting the attention of the shadow guardian. When the party regrouped in the main room, we forced open the lion's head door and then opened a second lion's head door with the levers. The radiant guardian in the second room agreed to 'ally' with us to eliminate the shadows. We proceeded north from the lion-lever room and cleared out some void touched enemies. The next room had a shadow guy in it that we took out as well.
We moved into the room with the shard and the void guardian to start combat. The shard was destroyed by the light guardian, we 'cured' the void guardian with Kaluulah's rousing splash. We solved a lever puzzle to open a bunch of doors, then were able to open the final door. A corrupted high priest was at the end of the long corridor, which Kaluulah tried to approach to start conversation. He reacted by divine lancing her before she could say much.
We defeated the high priest, found the last shard, and got some treasure.
Level 3!
After returning to the city, Caithyra takes 3 days of downtime to copy all the research notes we found into her Journal.
We return to the Guild to complete our job, and after we receive our rewards we are summoned by the Guildmaster. He gives us an 'unposted job' to track down Ryland Drake. He is a former adventurer who now works as an information broker. He has ties with some of the dark guilds. After asking around, we heard that he is at the Coinspinner's Ring in the Golden Bazaar. (An open-air gambling den where visitors can try their luck at dice games, card games, and other games of chance. The atmosphere is lively, with cheers and groans filling the air as fortunes change in an instant.)
We split up to search for Drake: Caithyra and Geekat, Linnolaithe and Cantus, Zaza and Kaluulah, and Vasuki and Kurt.
Caithyra has an Emberheart Elixir wine, gains a +1 for next location. Vasuki and Kurt encounter Drake at a table for Three-Card Bluff, and Kurt promptly bores him with archeology talk causing Drake to leave. He heads for the Salty Kraken in the Docks district.
Caithyra tries the Honeycrisp Cider Brandy, gains a +2 for next location. Zaza and Kaluulah spot him at the Salty Kraken, he orders a drink and then challenges someone to a game of darts. He's looking for a partner to play so they approach him. Kaluulah plays darts with him for a while and then tells him a bit about the deal. He agrees to talk more at the Dragon's Hoard tavern in Ironclad.
Caithyra gets a Loredan Sunleaf wine. Slut squad scores some points.
Next day, we return to the guild to report that Drake will cooperate. They ask us to investigate the mountains.
The party purchases 4 riding horses and 2 wagons to prepare for our journey to the Nemoris Mountains. Most of us also purchase cold weather gear and climbing kits. Caithyra buys a 4-person tent and offers for Zaza and Kaluulah to share it with her.
Kaluulah meets with Vasuki's parents to get a letter of introduction to the Mercantile Guild so we are able to sell goods on our journey. She gets the permits and goods we plan to sell.
Our plan is to take the main road to Loereth, then head north through Marcos and west to Trellsen, eventually ending up in Faerithen. Linnolaithe lets the party know about his family's reputation in Faerithen, and the possible difficulties that could present.
