The Blightsteel Watch is a force under the Blightsteel Dominion, dedicated to preserving order within the Gearspire Bastion and protecting it from threats. The Watch dedicates itself to the safety and prosperity of their home, ensuring that the city remains a beacon of hope within the The Blighted Sunscape.
Historical Events
In its early days, the watch was composed of a ragtag group of volunteers and former soldiers, trying to prevent the desperate survivors from giving in to violence and theft. The watch was originally led by Seraphina Dawnblade, her leadership leading to structure in the chaos. All members shared a wish for peace and order, finding their values aligned with the Elves of the Blightsteel Dominion and joining forces.
During the Great Devil Incursion, which kickstarted the 826PGC-...PGC: The Infernal War, Seraphina Dawnblade reached out to the local Orc tribes in a desperate attempt to fend off the devils. The Orcs, who had suffered from the plague as well but remained resilient, agreed to join the fight. Their warfare know-how and hardened warriors proved crucial, and the combined forces secured the city.
Following this victory, the orc tribes were officially integrated into the Blightsteel Watch. This inclusion brought not only additional manpower but also new combat techniques and a deeper understanding of the desert environment. The orcs’ strength and resilience became a cornerstone of the Watch’s effectiveness.
