Matock laid out the rules of time for the universe, but that does not mean the entire universe chose to follow them. Much as the time flow he wishes to enforce, Matock is a force ever marching steadily forward, not one to be held back nor to rush forward.

Appearance

Matock is usually depicted as made of ever falling sand, taking a vaguely humanoid shape.

Those who worship Matock might carry a watch engraved with an hourglass.

Matock wishes to see the flow of time unified across all planes so that it can be universally comprehended on one unified, in sync, forward moving scale.

His only true care for mortal matters is in any grand scale attempts to alter time.

Matock has little interest in Dracar's war against free will.

He has several ongoing conflicts with various divinities and planes, such as The Feywild, which are inherently opposed to his aim of a unified, one directional time flow.
